Blues Brother Castro - The Score

Sik-bits proudly presents the new music video by Simone Bennett for Blues Brother Castro - “The Score”. A wonderful music video about a factory worker and a group of moths.
One lonely moth gathers a crowd as it travels over the industrial area. When the moths reach the worker to free him from a days work, they collide in Technicolor frenzy.

Amsterdam based alternative rock and roll band Blues Brother Castro released their new album 'Out On The Beach' on Excelsior Recordings in April. The Score is the first single from this album.
For this collage like music video Simone combined 16mm found footage material with hand drawn animation and photography. Contrasting in colour and style between the working day life of the factory worker and the “party” moths, the creatures of the nightlife.
Simone Bennett is a filmmaker/visual-artist who makes short films and videos. She studied audio-visual art at the Gerrit Rietveld academy in Amsterdam. In her films Simone Bennett combines experimental film with narrative story telling. Working closely together with camerawoman Lonneke Worm they produce their short films under the name of Loneproductions.

Together with Raspberry animation studio, Simone worked on the technical aspect of the music video. Creating a feast for the eye called “The Score”.
